StarGel+ is a carbohydrate gel (Vitargo®, maltodextrine, fructose and dextrose) providing the body with energy from several minutes to a couple of hours after intake. Star Gel+, thanks to the content of complex carbohydrates such as maltodextrins and amylopectin contained in Vitargo, delivers energy support during long-term exercise. β-alanine is a precursor of carnosine which intervenes to dampen muscles acidosis caused by lactic acid accumulation. HMB is a derivative of leucine which has a recognized role in increasing protein synthesis. Each pack of Star Gel+ contains 60 mg of caffeine, which corresponds roughly to the amount provided by one espresso coffee. Recommendations for use: It is recommended to take one or more monodose pack before and/or during physical exercise, depending on the athlete’s requirements.
